Ken Fox lives and writes in Regina, Canada. From 1996 to 1998 he worked in the South Saskatchewan oil field, conducting environmental tests of drilling mud and sampling subsoil, an experience that informs much of his writing practice. Ken likes to write stuff that smells, and sometimes even looks, like poetry and has published 13 chapbooks of such verbal waste-matter. In 2010 he and life-partner Aleks McHugh co-published Utilitarian Donuts. He is the host & programmer of Naval Aviation In Audio on CJTR Regina Community Radio. Favourite quotes include “Let’s all be prophets!” (Moses) and “Let’s all be composers!” (Zappa).
